What to do...

Hello! I'm back from Houston and my family decided on a house! In a month or so we'll be moving in!

ANYWAYS, I have something to talk about.

I want to finish these edits of the past chapters, but I also want to make new chapters! Although, I can't do that until I finish the edits, because I'm thinking of changing some of the storyline soon. So should I just make a new chapter even though it probably wont follow my new storyline, or should I wait until July 12th when I'll probably finish?

So, I've made a decision! I'm going to transfer the edited versions of the books onto Google Docs, where I will slowly remake both books entirely. While I'm doing that, I'm going to keep my old unedited version here where I will continue making chapters of this unedited storyline. When I'm done with the edited version I'll transfer that back to my Sanctum and put the old version on the Google Docs. Hope that makes sense...

In short, I'm going to be making new chapters in both books while editing them in Google Docs!

Going to Houston!

My dad found a new job and we're traveling to houston for two days tomorrow to see how the place is. We're going to move there around the middle of July, but for now we're just checking out the place.

Sadly, this means that I wont be able to make anything for a while, so just hang in there!

Nourikonm Chapter 1 Now Edited!

I should be done with these edits by July 12th.

Now that I've read it...

Now that I've reread most of The Nourikonm and The Red Banner, I've realized how badly I've written some of the chapters! This tells me four things:

1. I've got to read everything after I write it, to make sure it is actually good!
2. I need to make "rough drafts" of chapters the day before I release it so I can edit them before I publish the new chapter.
3. I need to make sure I do both those things before I even think about publishing the new chapter.
4. I will need to rewrite most of The Nourikonm until I am satisfied with what I wrote.

So for awhile now I'm going to be editing most of the story, maybe even it's storyline. I'm starting with chapter one, I'm definitely going to need to lengthen the chapter, and add a lot more detail to the characters and settings. I'm not doing this for only The Nourikonm though, I'm going to be doing this with The Red Banner as well.

I promise to not make any posts involving my books unless I finish editing a chapter. I will not make any more excuses as to why I haven't made/edited any chapters, I'm on a mission to stop being so lazy with this blog.


ANYWAYS, I hope to finish editing chapter one in The Nourikonm by tomorrow!

Forgot about something...

I forgot I'll have to reread both my books entirely before I can start writing the next chapter, dang my bad memory!

So I won't be able to make the next Nourikonm chapter until the 11th, or possibly the 12th. I'll try my hardest to make it today, but I doubt I'll be able to do it.

Finally Summer

I forgot everything about school already. I forgot I even was in school. Was I in school? No, I didn't think so. What's school again? What were we talking about?

ANYWAYS, I'm well aware that like 30 months ago I said I was going to finish the clip at Left-out Inspiration, but I had a sudden feeling that I can only describe as "forgetfulness". I do apologize, but I have a 12 hour memory, anything that happened 12 hours ago, I've completely forgotten. This is why I am terrible at school, but that I will not go into right now.

I do have good news, though! Now that it's summer, I'm going to FINALLY continue on the books I've been writing! Starting the day after tomorrow, though. I need some time to relax.

Summer is a holiday to me, so consider this post to be a holiday post.

QUICK SUMMARY: Its summer, I'm making chapters now, and I will finish the clip at Left-out Inspiration. I may also make more weekly songs.

Beginning to bring some new chapters soon!

No, no new chapters have come yet. I don't know if I'll get them done this weekend, but I know next weekend I will.

I'm almost done with the game's storyline I've been working on, sadly I still don't know what the game is called. I know everything else. Once I'm done with the game I'm back to my blog for sure!

ANYWAYS, I'm making a new clip on the "Left-out Inspiration" page! I just felt like making something as every story I've been making these past few months has been stories I don't like as much as my own (I'm talking about the game I'm helping make and the essays I've been making for school). So I decided to make something to release two months worth of holding in all my creativity! Don't get your hopes too high, though. Two months of uncreativity also mean two months without any practice.

EDIT: I'm going to continue the clip tomorrow because it's pretty long, so consider this as a short story to give you a taste before I make new chapters in both my books next weekend!

Some changes.

It seems I'll never be able to beat my 4 chapter weekend challenge. I also think because I challenge myself with that many chapters in one weekend, my chapters in both my books are becoming sloppier, and just finished too quickly. So, from now on, I'll be making a 1 chapter guarantee every weekend, and if I'm feeling good, I might do a second chapter.

I doubt I'll ever do more than 2 chapters in a weekend anymore. Although, I'll be giving the song of the week and a new chapter in The Red Banner some time today!

Easter.

My Great Grandfather died last week, so I didn't have time to make another chapter again. This week I'll finally have time, but first, lets talk about Easter.

Easter is the day Jesus was resurrected and reborn. I'm not a very religious person so that's about all I know. As for the holiday itself, who knows why there's a giant bunny throwing it's unbirthed children around? (By that I mean it's eggs) Who knows why there's candy's in the eggs either? From what I've read, the Germans gave us the idea of the egg-laying rabbit.

Who cares how or when it all happened, all I know is this holiday is just another Halloween, only a "Hide and Seek" version I suppose.





 I wonder if in the old ages kids actually collected eggs, smashed them, and hoped candy came out...

I'm helping make a game!

Before I get to the important parts, I just want to apologize for forgetting about my B-Day party today, and that's why I made no chapters. Should have warned you before, but I forgot :P

ANYWAYS, I am in fact helping make a game! I said I wanted to help, back in October 2013, and it wasn't until now that he's responded! I won't be making any of the mechanics or game play of the the game, but I'm creating the story line! I hope it turns out great.  

No, I'm not getting any money from this (I think).

Yes, my name will be in the credits.  

Yes, this game will (hopefully) make it to Steam!

The rest of this gets boring so for those of you who don't want to read about how and why I got this "job", look away now.  Today at at around 10:30 PM (no I don't usually stay up this late, was just a one time thing) I got a message in Steam saying that he wants me to make the storyline! So I say I'm not busy or anything so he begins his instructions for the story. After about thirty minutes of explaining, he finished and I promised to do my best! I typed up all his instructions on a notepad and started making this post.

Now at around 11:15 PM, I'm getting tired. I'll start this game's story in the morning, wish me luck!

My Birthday & my break.

My Birthday just happened a couple of days ago, on the 28th to be precise. I got some T-shirts, my first  shaving kit, and some games. I'm going to Sixflags on Saturday as well, as a late present.

I was also gone for about two weeks because I wanted a break from my books, and I was doing some stuff for my Birthday. I'm going to deliver the Song of the Week Tuesday (not an April fools joke), and I'll try my four chapters in one weekend challenge!

I'm not going to give any excuses this time, I'm just not going to be making a chapter today. I did say I was going to make 1 chapter a day until tuesday, but that's a lot harder than I thought. Hopefully I get a chapter rolling out tomorrow!...

Some weirdos do. Anyways, this is that chapter! I wont spoil the story, but it's a pretty cool one.

I've liked the game for a while now, and I've gotten very familiar with it's amazing storyline. Most people ignore storylines in FPS games, but this one's great. Go read it for yourself, they made the storyline using comics!

Chapter 8 in The Nourikonm!

CHAPTER 8 is out now! Last chapter, I spent 3 hours making and editing my chapter. This time, I spent 3 and a half hours! Then again, I did make some minor changes to chapter 7. Not anything that'll change the plot, just some period and comma mistakes, and some wording was changed. I doubt it's noticable.

Finally back!

It took some time on that plane, but I'm back home!

However, I did not finish chapter 8 in the Red Banner. The reason is because my grandfather my family was visiting wanted us to stay for a very long time yesterday at New York, so I had no time to write. I probably wouldn't have finished anyway, it was a tiring day.

On the good side, I'm going to finish that chapter tomorrow when I OFFICIALLY start doing my spring break challenge. If you do not know what that is, that is when I will do 1-2 chapters a day until Sunday or Monday when I return to school from spring break. I would finish chapter 8 in the Red Banner now... but obviously I haven't played any video games in 5 days!

On another good side, I had the good old New York pizza on the last day. It's so much better than the one's around my neighborhood! My mom's been wanting to be a chef for a while, and she said the reason the pizza tastes so good is because of the bread they use there. I can't really disagree with her.

I'm leaving tomorrow at noon, and will arrive back home around 3-4 PM. I haven't gotten any of the great NY pizza yet, but hopefully I will today!

I actually got a decent amount of sleep last night, so if I'm going to finish chapter 8 at NY, it's going to be today.

ALSO: 4 songs of the week coming Tuesday when I return home! I've missed many weekly songs, and I'm going to put up a lot of them soon!

I made it...

I made it to New York yesterday at about 1 PM, and it started with a lot of yelling from my parents. It's always like that in New York though. I haven't gotten more than 5 hours of sleep since Thursday, so I'm really tired. My family comes here because my Great Grandpa lives here, and he's really old. We have to take care of him during this trip, and none of my family is happy when we see him. I only like New York because I was born there, they have awesome pizza, and there's lots of forests to explore where our hotel is located. Besides that, it's kind of boring and stressful for me. I love New York, but going there to grandpa sit... isn't that great.

If I ever get a good nights sleep during this trip, I'm going to use my brain power to finish chapter 8 in the Red Banner!
If not, I'll finish it the day after I come back home.

Bad timing for me.

I just got sick... again. Right before I'm supposed to be flying Friday. Hopefully I can recover before I fly, but I'm not sure.

I had pains in my throat yesterday, I just ignored it and drank lots of water. Then at night I woke up to my ear bursting. It was really painful, I took lots of pills for it. I came to the doctor today and found out I got an ear infection. They gave me lots of pills that I'm going to need to take three times a day for about two weeks.

It sucks even more since I was planning to finish a chapter in the Red Banner after school today. I finished half a chapter yesterday before my ear started getting infected, but I think I'll finish it either during or after the trip to New York, if I even get to go.

Anyways, I'm felling better now. Not so much that I could run a mile, but yeah. I'm pretty okay.

BY THE WAY, I've been forgetting about the Song of the Week for a LONG time. Next Sunday I'll have 4 songs to make up for the 3 missed ones! Wow, 3 weeks without a Song of the Week... my memory is terrible.

Going to NY!

I'm going to be leaving for New York this Friday, so I'll be able to skip school this Friday! I already skipped school today, but the less school the better!

The temperature this night hit below 10 degrees Fahrenheit! It even snowed a little. So I guess the school freaked out and canceled school entirely! 3 days of school works for me.

I'll be back Tuesday, hopefully. By then it'll be spring break, and I'll be making lots of chapters! I think I'll be making another chapter in the Red Banner today, but of coarse I may end up being lazy again.

Yep, that's right. I just finished chapter 7 in The Nourikonm, and it may not be as long as some of my other chapters, but dang. It took me a long time to make up some of the stuff in that one.

7th chapter of Red Banner!

Well, I'm definitely not going to complete my challenge this weekend, unless I can make 3 chapters tomorrow (I'm not going to do that).

But at least I did something today!...

The next Cross Country Meet!

Today after school I had just ran a much harder race than last time. Last time, It was only against 3 other schools. This time, there was a 4th school, and they were known for being fast, emphasis on were.

So my school and I ran against the 4 schools, and right at the beginning of the race, a big pile up happened 50 yards in. Every one was falling down, I actually had to push some kids down to get back up!

While in the race, I saw the other schools passing me. I began to speed up, and I barely made it through a tight spot between two walls. Only one person's able to fit in that gap, so I had to get there quickly.

I finally finished the 1.5 mile race, and I got 84th place. I got mad, not knowing there was a 5th school at the time. I thought I did a whole lot worse than last time, until I asked other people what place they got. They all got about 5-15 places below the last race. That's when someone told me there was another school racing, so then I relaxed a little.


It turns out, the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd placers went to my school! I'm pretty sure we've won, again.

Happy President's Day!

Yes, it is President's Day. The day the people came together and said, "You know, we have a lot of presidents, and some people are telling us we got to celebrate them some how..." Then someone else stands up and suggests, "Maybe we can celebrate their birthdays!" The people shake their heads and answer, "No, there's too many of them. We can't let those kids skip too much school!" The kids all frown at this statement. Then another, less wise person of the group stands and suggests, "Maybe we can have a random day of the year where we just celebrate all of them!" The people think about it for a second, then respond saying, "Why, yes! Brilliant! Since a lot of presidents have their Birthday in February, lets make it in February!" Another person stands and replies, "And we could have it on 3rd Monday of February, because... I like the number Mondays!" "Brilliant! We have our new holiday! We didn't even need to make 36 holidays for the 36 presidents*!" Hollers one of the lazy people. Everyone leaves the court.

*back in 1971, when President's day was really celebrated, there was only 36 presidents.

That's what I think of President's Day. I'm not bashing the presidents, I'm bashing the people who made this holiday. If I were to honor the presidents, I'd actually celebrate every single one of their birthdays, or not celebrate at all. Not only this, but kids in all schools would be able to skip school a lot more! It's a win for everyone!

I wrote one Red Banner chapter really late in the day and said to myself, "well, I'll finish the last Nourikonm chapter at some point. I got nothing to worry about!" and so then it was close to the time I eat my dinner, and I said to myself, "well, I'll do it after dinner!"

Then, I decided to watch some TV, oblivious to the fact that i was supposed to make the next chapter. The time went from 7 PM to 8 PM, then 8:30. It was then I realized after watching the next episode of Game Grumps, "I WAS SUPPOSED TO MAKE MY CHAPTER!" So then I sat at my laptop for about 30 minutes with no ideas. Then it became 9 PM. "Dang! It's too late, my mind is too tired to think of stories now!" I said in my mind, and so I did nothing. After thinking of what to do next for about 5 minutes, I made a new post and began to write,

Happy (late) Valentines Day!

Yes, it (was) Valentines Day. It is the day the ladies get everything they want, and the day the men lose weight... in their wallets. At least, that's how it turned out in my school. I love how everyone celebrates a holiday meant for spending money. Yes, Halloween is also like that, but it's different. Some people say the candy and costumes is what makes Halloween Halloween, but I believe it's something else. Halloween was made so perfectly in the year so Halloween is the first day when temperatures outside start to drop. It's the day we get to run around and feel like a monster. The candy is like a side-dish to a great meal. That brings me to Thanksgiving, how do people remember it? It was such a long time ago, and it was for such a small thing compared to Columbus discovering North America, or Stephen F. Austin protecting the Alamo and becoming a great Texas soldier. Yet we don't celebrate those, we celebrate the Indians having a great feast with some colonists.

Cross Country meet!

About 2 weeks ago I went to my first Cross Country tryout, where me and some other people ran a mile and a half. A week later the coach tells us that we had to get a mile and a half time of under 11 minutes to be at the Cross Country meet, and somehow I did it! So two days ago I did my first meet, which is where we run about 1 and a half miles against two other schools. It didn't feel like 1.5 miles to me, though. It felt more like two...

Anyways, just today I was told my school won the first meet! There was about 200 runners there including my school, and I got 72nd place out of all the schools! Not too bad for me. I asked one of my friends what place they got, and they said they got 3rd! No wonder my school won.

More excuses...

Last night I was playing some computer games and I decided to look up some tricks to the game. I clicked on the first link, and I successfully downloaded a virus! So I had to spend until 1:00 O'clock in the morning to try and get rid of it, and luckily I did.

The bad news is, I'm way too tired to even try to play a video game. I can't focus on anything, and sadly, that means I can't get in even one chapter this weekend. I don't know how I'm even going to finish my school projects!

I've gotten two major projects due Monday in my school, so I might only get one or two chapters this weekend. I guarantee the weekly song on Sunday and one chapter, but I'm not sure about two. I also will not be adding anything onto my "Left-out inspiration" page for a while. Next week I'll try my best to get all 4 chapters in!

For those of you who don't know what pages are, they're the links at the top of my blog, The Nourikonm being one of them.

As you can probably tell from the tittle, I am making a new page! It's almost going to be like the "Idea Junkyard" from my old lair, only I'll post stuff there regularly! Increadibly late Song of the week, Weekend chapters, And being sick

Welp, looks like I did it again! There's another one in the "Stupid apologies" label. I'll have the Weekly song coming soon, tomorrow or in a few minutes. Probably in a few minutes, so there's no need to worry.

And yes, I'll be making new chapters in both books! how many? Oh I don't know, about two each! I'll be making one chapter a day this weekend, and hopefully each weekend from now on! Don't get your hopes up, though. I'm not the greatest at keeping up with schedules.

The reason why I haven't posted anything in... wow, eleven days. That's way too many XD.
But yes, I was sick. That is the reason why I've been gone for so long, but I was planning on making about one or two chapters on Sunday, but I got sick on Saturday so that didn't work out. I was also going to make one the Sunday before that... but then I had that urge to just do the exact opposite and play video games instead. It's a reoccurring urge that's been happening too much now. I think the main reason it's been happening is because of this:

It's from a game I love called TF2, and I've been trying to get good at it. So, keep the four chapter plan in mind, meanwhile, I'm going to get the best song for you guys!
