Left-out Inspiration

This page will include many short paragraphs of pieces of inspiration that never made it into my books, I like to call them "clips".
These clips couldn't be added to my books because the clips could be involved in something the books aren't, or something went wrong with the clip so I just put it here, or I just wouldn't like it in my books!
I hope you enjoy them!

CLIP 1:  The best of anything is not worth having
(undated because I forgot when I made this)

(Almost everything I put in The Nourikonm comes from the weirdest dreams I've had. This is one of my weird dreams that didn't get put into The Nourikonm)

There is one man, sitting alone in his small house, who's he world's best musician. He's made music for people that people love and listen to everyday. One day, he's decided to not hold back and make the best song beyond anyone's wildest dream. After making it, he decides to listen to it before revealing it to the public. After listening to it just once, he becomes addicted to it. He cant stop listening to it and becomes entranced. He spends years listening to it over and over, and people suspected he had died. People had cried, and the musician didn't care. He ran away to a deserted cave to the far edge of the city and spend the rest of his days listening to that one song. Then, he became aware of what he was doing with his life. He decided to burn the CD he made. He did it, and became insane without the music. He remembered the song so well, he made a new copy of it and sent it to the radio stations. People were surprised he's been alive all this time, and they played the song over the air. He was the world's best musician, but was also the world's worst musician at the same time.

He's plagued their minds, and I think I've learned something from this dream I've had. Just be happy with what we have, and don't get the best of anything. Or else, the normal things will seem like nothing compared to the best.

CLIP 2: Two months without any writing, lets see what I make.
(Made: June 8th)

I lie on the ground. Exhausted. "I must go on..." I tell myself, but it's no use. I can't move.

After a few minutes I regain my senses, I hear people screaming. I open my eyes and see the orange gray ceiling above. I slowly sit up to see Dergufs killing all the people I've tried so hard to protect over the past years. "This can't be happening..." I whisper to myself. I stare at the civilians in front of me desperately running up stairs and jumping over rocks to get away. It's no use, the Dergufs are too quick. A woman carrying her baby trips going up one of the steps of the stairs. She lands face first onto the hard floor. The Derguf, with it's robotic pincers, grabs her by her throat and pulls her up. It lifts her off the ground. She desperately uses one hand to hold the baby and the other to pull the pincers off her neck. She starts screaming and yells for help. Now's the time to act.

As I get up to start running at the Derguf, Something behind me grabs my leg. I trip and fall to the ground. It begins to drag me backwards. I kick at it and squirm all I can, but it's no use. I see the helpless woman one last time. She manages to slap the Derguf across it's spherical metal head. The Derguf then grabs her legs, raises her high above it's head, and hovers away. I hear her screaming as she is carried away from my view. I hear a robotic clang, one more blood curdling wail, then nothing. My body becomes covered by the darkness as I get dragged further into the cave. If I ever survive this, I will never forget those screams...

I am in the dark cave, I see nothing but darkness. "When will this end?" I think. Then suddenly, the blinding light appears again. I blink a few times, my eyes still adjusting to the light. I begin to notice my surroundings. I'm in a room full of robots watching me as I get dragged in. The robot suddenly lets go on my leg, freeing me. The tiny robot quickly rolls into another room with it's two front wheels. Before I have time to get up and run, I am tossed onto a conveyor belt. The other robots begin to strap me down with metal bars. I holler at them in surprise and anger, but it's no use.

The belt roll. It brings me into a dark square opening in the wall. It becomes completely dark again. The light returns a few seconds later, showing me a horrible sight. I am in a rectangular room. The floor and ceiling are made of bright white tiles, the walls are made of clear glass. On the other side of the glass, I see other humans. They all appear to be strapped down to gray metal plates. They squirm and struggle to get out. There must be thousands of them starring up at the roof.

As the conveyor belt begins to reach the end of the room and enter through another square opening, I see thousands of giant metal tubes erect down from the ceiling towards each trapped human. It slowly comes down closer and closer to each human's body. I can see the fear in one of their eyes. My body inches into the next room. "Hey! Hey, I'm going to save you guys, just wait. I'll be back!" I desperately cry. None of them react. "Dang, the glass must be sound proof." I whisper to myself. Just as I plunge into the next room, I can see the metal tube just inches away from the human's bodies. As I enter the next room, I hear muffled screams of pain and agony. "I'll be back. I promise." I whisper. "I don't know what these robots think they're doing, but I'm going to put a stop to it. I'll do it if it's the last thing I do!" I promise myself.

The light returns, and the conveyor belt comes to an end. I lay in the middle of a small room, wondering what will happen next. There's absolutely nothing inside the room. I start to become worried. I roar at the ceiling, "Do your worst, robots! I can wait." I lie there, waiting for something to happen. A few minutes later, a metal pipe erects out the ceiling and down towards me. The pipe is much thicker than the ones I saw the other humans being tortured by. It came down slowly until it was an inch above my lips. I noticed it was hollow, and nothing in it seemed to be able to hurt me. "Open your mouth." A monotone robotic voice blares out. I keep my mouth shut. "Open your mouth." It repeats louder. I keep my mouth shut still. Nothing happens for ten seconds, I lay there wondering what it's going to do. The conveyor belt suddenly shocks me, not enough to do damage to me, but enough it made me shriek in pain. "Aaaarg!" I screech. The metal pipe from the ceiling starts shaking. A pills falls from the opening and it enters my screaming mouth. I resist swallowing it, I even attempt to spit it out. It's all no use. The pill instantly evaporates and melts down my throat. I become sleepy, and begin to close my eyes. My last words before I fell asleep were, "Why must you do this..."
